Well Baltar did the coming back from the dead thing in episode one - shielded from a Nuclear blast by 6 without a scratch - so what's he ?
Count Iblis is the character in original BSG played by Patrick Macnee. He's the devil. It's one of two major elements of the original series not seen in the new one - the other being the glowy light beings. Find the original series episodes The War of The Gods 1 & 2

Just watch them already! Endless speculation is what makes watching BSG (even more) fun.

Felt *SO* sorry for Tyrol. Was the possibility of this ever flagged up before or did they back themselves into a corner with the baby not being important and have to do this ?
The webisodes make with Gaeta now fit nicely with what's going on.

Didn't really like this episode. There were some good bits but it just felt like set up for future plot lines.

Any episode that features Col Tigh waving a machine gun around on the teaser sequence has to be good. Nice to see Laird (Pegasus deck chief) again albeit briefly. Reminded me in some ways of the 2nd ep in S2 with Lee and the Marines running around Galactica. Really like the way Saul's come on these last few episodes. And Tyrol too in this one. They may be Cylons but they still very much have loyalty to Adama Spoiler for the rest of the season: RDM did an interview for 411 In an interview linked from it Kate Vernon says she's in Seven of the last Nine episodes. She wasn't in 12 or 13 so we've got Mrs Col Tigh action for the rest of the season.

Well its all gone to shit now! I'm very interested to see how they'll get out of that one.
There's no way Gator will keep command for long, no matter the outcome. He's just not command material.

Easy:
Tigh throws himself on the grenade getting killed in the explosion. he imeadiately reincarnates - cos the 5 do it differently which then leads to the revelation that Mrs Col Tigh is alive & well on the Base Star. Simple.

Yeah that's how I think its going to go down. Tigh's death has already been foreshadowed by the scene in which we found out Ellen was the 5th. In fact I predict that Tigh will 'die' with Adama saying the same things to him that Ellen did.
Gaeta is going to die horribly one way or another. Either Adama gets command back and shoot him in the head or Zarack's going to put him out an airlock.

Or Adama will airlock both Zarack and Gaeta
BSG: Where airlock is a verb.

Got that wrong didn't I ?
Glad to see the back of Zarak especially after what he did to the Quorum. Gaeta I felt just lost his way. Where to with Anders ?

You were almost right! Great episode though.
Anders has to die - one of the 5 must so we can see them download! Also were the scars in the wall near the FTL ruptures in the hull? Does that mean the chief is a goner too?

The scars have to be significant somehow. Is it a warning that the end is near for the ship

415: Answers and plenty of them.
Fab turn by Kate Vernon, finally in full control of herself. Nice to see Boomer finally come to her senses.
I think we need to know who wrote the "There are 12 models" note in the pilot now

I knew there'd be a 13th cylon! 13th tribes of Kobol, 12 gods + 1 true god. Too many 13s for that not to happen. I guess we've got the guessing game all over again about who's Number 7.
I thought Baltar was the only person who could have written "There are 12 cylon models" as 6 tells him this. However it could be this Daniel now.
The episode didn't feel long enough this week. I got to the end and was like 'that's it?' Probably because we got quite a lot of answers. I hunger for more.

Bit of a weird one this week. I think by now we are long overdue a big battle.

Another move the pieces round the table ep. I thought that Tyrol's decision to go was odd when compared to last week, and that Ellen was written differently between the 2 episodes - bit hypocritical to talk about Tigh frakking 6 when the last person she slept with was a 1.

Saw 419 this morning. First 15 mins were a bit of a mind frak ! I knew Z was coming, shame it was just a flashback.
The end of the Lee/Baltar scene - never has a truer word been spoken.
I suspect they'll be some cur scenes from the last few eps on the DVD - we never saw how the chief ended up in the brig.

420: I've watched it, I can't unwatch it
Lovely stuff, great finale.
Stuff to watch for:
The full explanation and fulfilment of the dream and the song The famous Racetrack luck finally running out .... or has it ? Tori's little trip to the Airlock *finally* coming back to haunt her at the most inoppotune moment The superb moment when you find out who's acting president of the colonies while both Laura & Lee are away on their little trip.

Finally watched it last night (was away for the weekend). Bloody good stuff:
I knew we were overdue a space battle and what a great one it was. And I'm glad that it had a happy ending too. The writers had conditioned me to believe that any happy moment would be snatched away so I was waiting for something bad to happen while everyone was settling on Earth. The very final bit was a bit weird - I could have done with a bit more ambiguity over whether it was 'our' Earth.
What are they going to do for the TV movie 'The Plan' though? It obviously can't be set after the end of the series!

Wow.
Wow, a happy ending. I just want expecting that. The lack of significant deaths was also a surprise. Though taking the magazine article as fact that would mean that the only survivors of the fleet who seem to have made a go of it are Helo and Athena. Admittedly 150,000 years is a long time and the daughter would likely have married a child of other fleet survivors. I want to know what happened next though. It could be done as a remake of Earth 2.
If only Voyager had had the sense or bottle to do spend the last episode with them back on Earth reintergrating, but thats why Galactica is, was great. Roll on Caprica and Stargate Universe if it's really aiming to follow in Gallacticas footsteps.

The only recognisable characters who snuffed it were Racetrack, Skulls, Cavill, Tori & Roslin - and the last shouldn't have been a surprise !
