Spot on, Big Phil. I'm running out of clean underpants. Limiting myself. One / max two per night, missing the odd night now and then, and often watch each episode twice. Just don't know what's gonna happen next!!!!!

Just you wait. At this stage of the game there's one obvious thing to throw into the mix..... and they do!

Seriously on the edge of my seat.
Starbuck played the song. Starbuck played the song.

Last two episodes tonight. I can't remember when I've been this excited, this gripped, by a TV series before. I'm literally on the edge of my seat, with a box of spare pants beside me.

I remember that very feeling coming to the end. Superb series. That and Thrones are the only US shows I've been really absorbed by in the last decade.

The perfect ending to the best sci-fi series ever.
....the way she just disapeared......
This has all happened before......

The morning after the Battlestar before....
Feeling quite moved by it all. It was a good ending.

It didn't go down well with lots of people at the time! Especially the "No clear explanation behind Starbuck" bit. Me I thought Starbuck vanishing was fabulous. So I see Mr Cook has S4 Touch of gardening me thinks, and watch BSG. Suicide, Airlocking, Singing, radioactive wastelands and possibly the most important moment of the entire series await! You could argue that Tori airlocking Cally is one of the pivotal moments of the entire series for the consequences it has in this episode. And Ractrack's luck finally running out..... but kicking in again post mortem And Acting President Lampkin and Admiral Hoshi

Yes I thought Starbuck vanishing was very well done and very moving. I didn't mind the mystery behind her return a problem at all.
The Tyrol/Tori moment was indeed pivotal.
Baltar's farming comment was very emotional as well.
And Apollo's no cities, no tech ides.
No. I thought the ending was spot on. And moving.
What a brilliant series.

Ooh! I just realised I can read this thread from the begining now!
Thank you to everyone for keeping it all secret for me over the last few months! I appreciate it.

Phew! Finished the entire thread! I see plenty of my fellow Hubbers loved it as I did. I couldn't stand having to wait entire week, or Gods' mercy, an entire frakking year between episodes. Martin's two week viewing was alittle beyond me, but it shows just how brilliant BSG is. What a show. I'm still breathless from Daybreak.
So, what were peoples problems with the ending? Starbuck unexplained and what else? I'm stunned by how good and emotional the ending was.

Them getting to Earth, mostly surviving and it getting a bit religous at points at the end. Those people had obviously not been paying attention all the way through.

Me thinks those people are FOOLS!
Unresolved things: we never found out about Number 7, Daniel.
Also, right at the end, the Baltar and Six Angels saying 'He' doesn't like to be called God. Not unresolved as such, but interesting.

Ooh! Should I be using spoiler tags or do you think it's safe not to use them. I was pretty late to the party. I must be one of the last sci-fi fans in the world to see it, surely.

No need for spoilers, it's fair game. Unresolved things: we never found out about Number 7, Daniel. Yes we did. Cavill killed them all years ago

That's one thing that bothered me at the time.
I guess he just gave up knowing it was all over and he was beaten?
Very odd.

Yes, Cavil's suicide is the only thing that didn't make sense.
Although, I didn't understand why the Admiral didn't go back to the others after Laura passed away.

Leobahn's played by Callum Keith Rennie. Previously most famous as the Second Ray Vechio AKA Ray II in Due South
