This is the new Iron Man cartoon. The trailer was bad, but then so was the trailer for Wolverine and the X-Men and I'm enjoying that so thought I would give the pilot for this a go.
Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear.
The premise is not great. We have the adventures of teen Tony Stark, now orphaned. He goes to school but is very intelligent and does not fit in. Teen James Rhodes helps him out, along with Teen Pepper Potts. Teen Happy Hogan does not do much.
Sometimes Teen Iron Man must fight Teen Mandarin.
Problem is, that what we now have is pretty much a Spider-Man cartoon in all but name, with the premise so far removed from Iron Man the point escapes me. But even taken on its own merits, it's eceptionally dull and insipid. It just sits there on screen with no wit or excitement. There is not one good line of dialogue.
It doesn't even look good, saddled with utterly lifeless cel-shaded CGI. It's as lifeless as, say, Transformers: Cybertron, but with humans rather than robots on screen. Characters are weightless and can grimace or do a Wallace and Gromitt grin.
Terrible stuff. Avoid!

Yeah it's shite. Watched it last week and immediately wished I hadn't.

That sounds like an awful story line, and your right about it being more like Spiderman....whom I always thought hated Iron Man because he was rich and cocky!
