We tried to keep as quiet as we could on the day as we didn't want everyone going around physically twatting them on the day... they would have had to have queued up behind me and Sven! lol

The staff there did seem to be ****** *** with having to be there in 2006 when we where packign stuff away. They where locking all the doors & the gates outside.

That was nothing compared with this year! We had agreed set up and break down times with them almost a year in advance, including the times we would need on the Friday, and on the weekend itself they denied all knowledge of knowing it or any conversations we had with them and tried to change all of the terms of the booking.
At one point, they wanted to stop us from setting up beyond 6:00 pm on Friday, not giving us entry to the hall before 9:00 am on Saturday and wanting us out completely by about 6:30 on Saturday night! If that wasn't enough, they changed the payment terms on us as well, contradicting what we had from them in writing.
Suffice to say that whether future Auto Assembly events will be a one-day or weekend affair, we will NEVER return to the Clarendon Suites!

How very silly of them. Maybe they hate money.

Exactly. Sound like a right shower of twats.
