Issue Orson Randall and the Green Mists of Death. If you check the comic review thread I said when I read it was good.
Ongoing Series Iron Fist started good but has tailed off a little. Cap's been good all along. But I think the series I've enjoyed the most is X-Force for it's mix of violence, comedy and continuity.
Limited Series Haven't read too many but did enjoy the Captain Marvel series
Trade (new material) Immortal Iron Fist V2
Trade (old material) probably the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine HC cos I've been waiting years for them to do that.
B&W Trade (Showcase/Essential/Rebellion) Read a few this year, many of them published prior to 2008. I think my fave of the new ones has to be Essential Avengers 6

Issue - I could go with any of the Thor one-shot's here, but I'll pick Man Of War.
Ongoing Series - This is even harder as there have been some very consistent stories I've been reading, and the two it's between are Buffy Season 8 and Booster Gold. Have to go with Buffy, though, as it's the one comic that has to be read as soon as I get it.
Limited Series - I'll probably go for the Captain Marvel mini as well, but it's closely followed by Secret Invasion: Thor just for bringing back Beta Ray Bill.
Trade (new material) - Pride of Bhagdad, with Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War a very close second.
Trade (old material) - Hulk Visionaries: John Byrne
B&W Trade (Showcase/Essential/Rebellion) - Haven't read any this past year, but will remedy that with some Marvel Essential and Judge Dredd Case Files goodness in the coming months.
That's my two cents.

I could only really vote for TF stuff as I had to pare my comics buying right back in 2008. Did pick up a few trades but only books covering pre-2008 material or older books I hadn't got round to yet. There were few comics published in 2008 that interested me anyway.
