Well, that's my weekend taken care of. (I felt like a lazy one anyway, after so much travelling in work.)
Sixty more remastered classic cartoons, plus tons of commentaries and extra features, which makes a grand total of 300 in the Golden Collection DVD series to date. That's still fewer than half the total run, I believe.
Well, one disk down, three to go! Particularly looking forward to the third one, which consists entirely of Bob Clampett directed episodes.
Heaven!

Volume 6 due out on Oct. 21st will be the last boxed set in the Looney Tunes Golden Collection series, and judging by the contents they've saved some of the best to last - and it appears to consist of 75 cartoons as opposed to the 60 in previous sets. I shall treasure these for as long as I live. Martin

Volume 1 is a real bargain. Been watching at home and showing for the kids at church. I was pleased to see the great job done on cleaning up the picture etc. Only watched the first two discs so far.
I have Looney Tunes Question. Did Sylvester and Daffy ever appear in the same toon? I don't think I've ever seen them together, yet they have had a common enemy in Speedy Gonzalez.

mmm... I love Pumpernickel.
It feels like a missing gap from years of watching Looney Tunes has been filled.
Thanks a bundle Martin. I'll get Vol 2 sometime, but right now am savouring Vol 1 at the moment rather than marathoning it all in one go.
