Watched last night's Raw.
Lacey Evans has zero heat. The crowd do not care for her at all, not even go away heat. She does also suck massively on the mic.
Poor EC3 - jobbed the fuck out by Braun. Not seen anyone treated so badly since the Ascenscion.

Apparentley, they were going to be called The Beserkers. It seems like the network didn't want something with "War" in its name. IIRC the team were called War Machine before being brought onto NXT TV.
The 'War' thing also goes as far back to War Games and it being brought back as an NXT event. So far NXT have knocked it out the park with both the War Games shows so far.
I'm also hoping Vince will turn more attention towards the XFL revival if it ever gets off the ground.

That DoN card is shaping up nicely. The biggest loss WWE has had since Jericho's signing. They now have nobody left with thier level of experience and training.
About to watch the latest farewell from The Shield.

Not a fan of this WWE Wild Card rule at all.
It seems to be a front to put Roman Reigns on both Raw and Smackdown. Its like his draft to Tuesdays never happened and he's a glorified free agent.

Watched AEW Double of Nothing.
Really good PPV. I'm encouraged by this and hopefully this is a sign they will learn from the mistakes of WCW/TNA/ROH and can be a successful promotion and a credible alternative to Vince.

yeah as i said before thought AEW was really good hoping a genuinely good product when the tv show comes round as Raw/Smackdown is doing my head in these days beyond cheese

Time will tell. AEW have started and started amazingly. I'm sure their journey will have some speedbumps along the way, but they'll thrive and strategize along the way.
The latest Talk is Jericho podcast is a must!

He pretty much details Vince's brand of humor that other frustrated talets have spoken about before. It's like what Ernest "The Cat" Miller once said that Vince cares more about entertaining himself than the fars.

So much for the 'Wild Card' Rule. At least 9 RAW wrestlers showed up on Smackdown. I bet it won't be long before Cesaro and Ricochet are paired as a tag team  Firefly Funhouse was fun this week! Hoping to catch Super Showdown tomorrow. |

So this was my first time listening to Talk Is Jericho. Gotta love the way he just let Moxley talk and occasionally interjected to tell us how much he loves steak, fresh cat litter and buying father's day presents.

Gotta keep them sponsors happy. I tune into Talk is Jericho on and off as well as Jim Cornette material on occasion. Super Showdown. Goldberg is allegedly getting a 2m payday for his match The Undertaker tonight/day. I'm not expecting the best match ever, but it could be a decent encounter if anything. Most of the bout time will probably be spent on entrances... Kofi VS Dolph has a lot of potential! I'm predicting that there's an oppurtunity for a returning Big-E to betray Kofi and realign with Ziggler. Then again, WWE have lost one profitable group in The Shield and probably might want to hang onto New Day for a bit longer. |
