I picked this up today for a whopping £6.99. I had no idea annuals went up so high over the years.
Pretty much most of the annual is taken up by a picturebook rendition of the movie with Jazz's death being toned down to "being hit by an energy pulse from Megatron" and some other changes with the characters.
There's puzzles and extras too.
£6.99 seems a bit much for an annual but it's been my first TF Annual in like 20 years so I thought what the heck!

I have been tempted by the tatness within but know full well it will be cheap as chips post-Chrimbo and thus I shall snare a copy then.

Even now you can get two annuals for the price of one in Borders. To be honest I know I will buy a copy before Christmas just so I can have an annual on Christmas day, restoring a once proud tradition!

I know the feeling. The TF annual was always a yearly privillege I looked forward to.

I did not bother with the Armada or Energon Annuals. They were dreadful.

Yeah I avoided those two annuals. I haven't actually bought a proper annual in some years, probably a 2000ad or Judge Dredd annual either 94 or 95.

If I remember correctly the story appears to be the very same one that Nick narrated to me and Tony during a visit to Walmart during Botcon. I recall some comments about Jazz' death and also the desexyification of Ms Fox.
I think I shall grab a copy when I get the chance.
Andy.

You mean it contains the entire story from "Meet the Autobots"?

It seemed to be the book which told re-told the movie and some of the puzzles from the activity books. Got one for Chrimbo. A far cry from ye olde Marvel ones but a damn sight better than the crappy Armada/Energon ones.
Though of course the greatest annual of all time remains The Official Generation 2 Annual.
