Bunch of absolute muppets, they should all get some perspective. Indeed. Considering that the whole fight started over spin-off merchandising from children's toys it has reached a frighteningly absurd level. At this stage it would appear that the Transformers forum certainly isn't likely to be actually doing the IDW brand any good, and may in fact be doing it some harm. (Folk wandering on and encountering the shouting matches may, either conciously or unconciously associate them with IDW and this may translate to a decrease in any positive impression of the firm and influence their purchasing decisions). Worse than public perception, IDW is largely based on licensed properties and if the licensors decide they don't want to be affected negatively by association....
