Referencing is a pain in the ass in academic essays. I've found it can hinder imaginative thought as the criteria often allow you not to say something unless someone else has thought of it first. Hence, why the last time I had to do essays, I chucked in references to Muppets, Doctor Who and similar things as a bit of intellectual amusement to see if I could get away with referencing nonsense, thus proving how badly constructed the assignments were in the first place.
In other news, the local ducks are still missing.

Shockprowl. Do you have to use the 'Harvard System' for your Bibliography at the end? I hate doing those, but apparentley they are worth 10% of the markings.
Ralph, I've done same with refferencing stuff when relevant. Doing work on Hollywood, Researching Culture and Digital Cinema is usually a great way for me to slip in a Transformers refference if the example is helpful.

I do actually quite enjoy a well designed essay assignment though. I'm strange that way.

I like essays too, just not the deadlines they come with.

I recommend Zotero if you're referencing from an online source.

Thanks bud. Will keep that in mind. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=OLKMNgj-pkkI thought I'd share today a personally extracted favourite clip of mine from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Here Holmes demonstrates his method of bar brawling upon the evil Mr Woodley.

Well, This has not perhaps been the best ending to the week. Yesterday evening's attempt to install Windows XP Service Pack 2 onto my laptop did not work well at all. Nearly killing the laptop stone dead and necessitating a bit of work to get it back up and running. And to add injury to insult I appear to have pulled a transverse muscle somewhere in my back. The end result is that I have been a lot less mobile than I was hoping to be today - no walk of a Sunday morning this week that is for sure. Instead I have been, with the assistance of the painkillers, shambling around the house - trying to stay mobile enough that the muscle doesn't seize up completely whilst avoiding using it too much as it is more than a little painful. (Getting up dressed and down the stairs this morning before I had the painkillers was a bit of an adventure). Hopefully it'll clear itself up in the next day or so - I could do without shuffling on my way to work of a morning.

Not yet, I don't expect to hear from him till tomorrow to be honest. If he is home he will be convalescing and probably not at the computer. I've dropped him a txt and I'll post any replies I get. Andy I wasn't allowed my mobile phone on, so I didn't get your text until today, my friend! Thanks for the thoughts and well wishes! They really are much appreciated!

Will you be doing more art too, Karla? I would like to, I have pages and pages of sketches that I hope to transform into larger pictures one day. Including bombshell vs snarl, no I haven't forgotten and I have been doing little bits of designing for a female DINOBOT Maybe it was the giant-head toad that scared the ducks away...or ate them?

I agree there on Harvard. I prefer Footnotes myself, but the Uni says no. References - First Aid, Fix-it and Rhinox maybe?
