A homemade sauce for pasta for me. Mostly because too much chopping and peeling didn't thrill me as an idea. Nice easy way to do a meal - once it is all in the saucepans and simmering it can almost be left to cook itself.

Hello Sportsfans! Just drank a swift half or sixteen to celeb my brother's birthday. We go to a public house called 'The Narrowboat', from which one is able to purchoosel some very fine real ales indeed. Oh yes, very fine.
Potty training is going very well. Coupla accidents. One poo related accident, but that wasn't really Piglet's fault, as the potty was being emptied at the time! Little Piglet's doing very well! She's such a good girl!
Must tell you about a splendid fight Alts Prowl, Jazz and Wheeljack against Marvel Showdown Hulk. Our Autobot heroes were getting tossed about left, right and centre. They then started to get the upper-hand, but Hulk just wouldn't give in. Finally the fight had to be broken up by the Avengers and X-men (Marvel Showdown Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast and Colossus). Marvelous.

Went to my local working mens club last night with my family where they had a karioke on. The bloke doing the karioke spent about an hour and a half just playing seventies and sixties music before somebody actually came up and took part. Seeing that most of the people who come in there are blokes in their 60's and 70's there were only about five people who actually came up to sing and they sung along to some really old songs. The highlight - a bloke in his seventies singing the song 'Teenager in love'.

Weekends, productive in some respects - I spent some of the time repotting the Dragon Tree that lives in my living room, as it was leaning rather dangerously off the vertical. Did some pottering in the kitchen, working ona fruit cake based on my mothers recipe - I think it is going to be needing some tinkering with though, as it doesn't quite come out as well for me as it does for her. Still quite palatable, but not up to the highwater mark.
My DiY experiences were not so happy. I spent Saturday afternoon assembling a DVD and a CD rack. They went together eventually but not without considerable irritation and injury. The screws were so difficult to tighten that I ended up stripping half the thickness of skin from two spots on my palm and one on my finger. It is healing up slowly but it is still a little bit painful to close my hand. Shame it is my writing hand.
But I consoled myself by watching some Batman cartoons and having a peppermint tea and a nice slice of fruitcake.

I've been going quietly out of my mind this weekend. What I thought would initially be a quick 30-minute worth of work for a toy review vid has currently taken up approx 12 hours of man-hours over two days due to camera not talking to computer, programmes crashing, problems with youtube, computer freezing, toy problems, software problems and many many other problems. I'm not even doing anything complex! Nnnnngh.

Which Batman toons, Legios?
Today. Been sorting out some video stuff this end, non TF and TF related. Spoke to my mum for a long time since I don't get to see my folks much. Mum has to go into hospital soon to have cataracts removed, which is quite a scary experience so I am told.
Been drinking lots of tea, typing stuff, opening toys, wii fit, and keeping my day varied also.

Which Batman toons, Legios? Batman: The Animated Series Ken - I am revisiting the classics. Fascinating to go back and see so many of the classic, and some of the very obscure villians, put in an appearance. Karl (T'is alright to call me Karl by the way - Legios is just my username, may as well use my real identity. It is not as if the glasses do much for me by way of a secret identity anyway : -) )

I had a strange reaction to that Batman show. Saw random eps here and there and thought it was good. Bought the DVD set of season 1, watched a few eps and thought: 'very well crafted'. Then it sat on a shelf and I never felt like watching the rest of it. Hmmm.
