The one sequel I would really want to see is Serenity II and yet paradoxically am not too bothered it never happened as the story and characters were very well rounded off.

Wholeheartedly agree there. Depends on what the actors are doing now, I know that Summer Glau is currentley doing Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles and that's it, dunno about the rest.
Did you guys also know about the scrapped Goonies cartoon?
