Been compiling lists of the various AEC toys I want. Somewhere near the top is Cybertron Jetfire/Galaxy Force Dreadrock. There's a whole load of deluxe too but most of them weren't out in the UK so are £££

You know something weird I don't quite understand is that there were a bunch of repaints I really wanted (and still do) of older toys... Like Big Convoy from Cybertron Optimus, and Devastator from Metroplex, but these desires do not usually extend to the updated versions (like Siege Galaxy Op, and Legacy Metro).
Also, Maybe partly because without FP, the cybertron molds haven't been used in so long, I find myself desiring seeing them return to the repaint pool.
Except Leobreaker. That's still in my top five all time most hated.

Leobreaker isn't great, I'll give you that, but all time worst 5? He's not a Bayverse toy for a start. Leobreaker's main problem for me is he is the only arm solulation for Op & Megatron. I'd have had the likes of Mudflap, Evac, Cybertron Defence Scattorshot and Quickmix providing alternate options. Now *normally* at this point I'd say Which remains me, I need to get those Cybertron Op/CW limb adaptors! Also reminds me that I need the arm adaptors to let Optimus use CW limbs. but I won't today, cos I finally remembered last week and UPS are due to deliver shortly!!! |

Given that it was an entirely new mold that was a borderline one and done use, was terrible compared to the last toy the character got, and got replaced by a significantly better figure anyway, PotP Jazz's slot should have gone to a Leobreaker update.

As you all know I'm very much a subscriber to the "POTP got sawn off" theory and suspect Jazz was intended for a team to go round Inferno, which may have also contained his repaint Stepper and the eventual exclusive Wreck-Gar. But plans changed and Inferno, and Starscream, never got their full teams and Elita-1's was never finished till Siege & it's exclusives. But yes, a Leobreaker lion CW limb would have been fab.... and the inevitable Nemesis Breaker, Lio Convoy and Lio Prime repaints. Sign Me Up! I only discovered the other day why Leobreaker is called Leobreaker: Overhaul's name was originally going to be Trailbreaker and there are Trailbreaker references in his design. tfwiki.net/wiki/Overhaul_(Cybertron)#CybertronNow I was Overhaul repainted in black! |

As always, I still disagree on teams. I still believe the only intended teams in PotP are the dinobots and Terrorcons, with everything else just playing with the swappability aspect of the gimmick. I don't even think Inferno was anything more than a late edition tack on filler.
But I do think they had other plans for Jazz that never materialized for whatever reason. While there's too much Jazz in the mold for him not to be an intended use, I think he was planned to be Crasher as the endgame.
The alt mode, presence of a female combiner and another female limb, and the Jazz mold being shown most often with the Elita torso do support this.

Had to buy a big lot to get it mind, but there's stuff the FU want in there.

Would love both the Cybertro Defence toys I don't have, Jetfire, Vector Prime, Thunderblast, Crosswise, and maybe Overload, Red Alert, Snarl, Sideways and the Armada remoulds. I'd love the Minicon repaints back again but they're silly money. Since then I have got Blue Ramble (Scrapmetal) and reacquired Cybertron Defence Scattorshot & Red Alert, Vector Prime, Thunerblast and the first two waves of Cybertron minicons. |

I am. But recent arrivals are making me clarify my current position elsewhere, determine what I would like going forward and enabling me to decide if there's anything from earlier lines I want to shift (That's a big NO so far for Unicron Trilogy)
