You know, I was looking at these videos earlier, from 2007's movie-tie in game: tfarchive.com/movies/tfgame_movies.php and I think it would make the perfect basis for a Movie Continuity live-action/CGI television series.
On such a basis, I think a non-human/non-Earth series would work particularly well, since CGI or even real humans would be far too expensive to include in a television budget.
And it would even need to be set just on Cybertron. Maybe in a "Clone Wars" type way, the Transformers could be chasing the Allspark all over their galaxy.
Just thinking out loud, really.
