I watched Team America - World Police last night, which I haven't watched in some time, not since before the Transformers film came out. I couldn't help noticing that some of the Team America score is remarkably similar to the Transformers score. It's the "heroic" theme, used a few times when Team America go into action and the equivalent scenes for the Autobots. The pieces are that similar that I wondered if it was the same composer, but it wasn't. There's a song in Team America about Michael Bay and how bad Pearl Harbour was, which makes me wonder if the similarity is something other than coincidence.
The tune (the name of which escapes me) that's used when Bumblebee gets his new Concept Camaro mode is also in Team America, but that's in lots of things.

The tune I think you mean is Battle Without Honour or Humanity by TomoYasu Hotei or just simply 'The Kill Bill Tune'. If I recall from when I last saw the first film, the tune is played in a nighttime Japan scene when The Bride is all kitted up in a warm-yellow jumpsuit with a black stripe (a homage to one that Bruce Lee wore) and mounting a sleek motorbike also in the same colour scheme as Bumblebee. The TF Collectors Club also used that music in a promo video for the Nightbeat/Energon Hotshot repaint toy last year. I've not seen Team America myself however, so I am not sure if the scene with that musical peice (if I am guessing the right tune) was a subtle nod to anything else. I know if Michael Bay had his way further he'd probably have the 'America #### Yeah!' tune in Transformers. The song has also been played on the football results and used as stock music on a couple of adverts I vaguely remember. But yes, it's in a lot of things . ===KEN
