I've honestly no idea where to put this thread, so uh, I hope here is good!

Everyone knows that my fake internet job is running my website. But I have a second fake internet job, that of plot Wizard (a bit like the KKK) on a Transformers MUSH, Transformers 2005.

Don't run!


You may have heard of it, you may not. Its a form of online roleplay that really has the best of both worlds - it is in real time, so you can interact with people and play around them, and it is text based with different rooms, characters, commands, weapons etc.

There's still lots of MUSHes about, but if you want a Transformers one with more than 3 people on it, you'll want to play on 2k5. Its the oldest Transformer RPG still running (14 years strong) and still as good as ever, if better. We're undergoing a bit of a renaissance at the moment so it is a great time to join. It's set post (original) movie, so you don't get Optimus Prime (DON'T CRY) but you do get Wheelie (I used to play Wheelie!

We are also introducing the HEADMASTERS


There is a wiki you can look at for information at transformers2005.wikia.com . I've even written pages on connecting ( transformers2005.wikia.com/wiki/Connecting ) and getting started! ( transformers2005.wikia.com/wiki/Getting_Started )


There's loads of characters you can be, and for the lazy some of the less popular characters (like REWIND, yesssssss) are 'AFCs' or App-Free Charcters, and so will take up to ten seconds to apply for.

I used to MUSH often, but did'nt like using telnet and pueblo etc.

Barred from Genesis along with all the 'Destron' players.

I was on the Victory II MUSH mainly which recentley closed when all the players left like rats on a sinking ship

My missus still logs into TLY now and again as does another local buddy of mine. MUSHing does'nt seem to be as big as it used to be anymore but the popular ones seem to be still the strongest and only ones going.

I used to be Browning on VII for a while a few years back!

Yeah. Most places have sunk, even the new ones, but 2k5 is still pulling in around 45+ connections a night, which is nice.

I use MUSHclient, which is free now, so you dont have to put up with the annoying connect screen

Once upon a time in the mid 90s I was on TLY. I was also Drillhorn for a while on Genesis. And Blacker on TFV. I also did a lot of the building there too. I got a bit fed up with the furries tbh

We introed *Masters on 2k5 last night! It was amazing. I am Scorponok and was all' VAST PREDATORY BIRD AAAAARGH', snipped off Chromedome's head, and loaded Misfire into a cannon and shot him through the command deck window of the Steelhaven.

It was magic.

I'm ressurecting this old thread. I'm still doing the ol' MUSH circuit. Last night I was playing the evil Lord Chumley, who had become king and so was King Lord Chumley. And Powerglide was Prime Minister!

Oddly it has given me a greater appreciation for the evil Chumley. My first RP as him was the best though. He hunted the EARTH ITSELF!

Lord Chumley laughs evilly as he watches the proceedings, taking out a jar of Marmite and idly dipping some twigs in it to make delicious Twiglets, that he stuffs into his mouth. "Ah, this is the life Dinsmoore, the true calling of the gentleman. The skill of the hunt, the thrill of the chase, the whizz of the laser-guided missiles!" He stands up, indignant at Dinsmoore. "DINSMOORE, the Earth is a splended target. Mother Nature herself, I shall bind her and then mount her. In a little tableau with the moon, I think!" He quickly whips out a pistol and fire it into the ground. "AHA wounded her already!" he shouts triumphantly.
