I would like to introduce you to my new web site. It's here: www.hubrisonline.co.uk/It's a bit sparse at the moment, but there is some exciting news on the home page. I've been getting floods of mail asking about back issues and release dates and whatnot, so I thought I should put it all in one place. I've also, finally, got to grips with all the various postage rates and Paypal fees. All the details are there as well. Turns out I've been making quite a loss on each issue. And, as Hubris is growing in popularity I'm making efforts to minimise those losses. I am just about breaking even now.

I'm confused. I thought Hubris was the fanzine of the Hub website. Now it's got its own website... and the Hub website is looking very bare indeed. Is www.the-hub.co.uk an Ancient Relic / Yesterday's Hero? Martin

Well you don't sound confused. Over the Christmas break I made a decision. It was either to focus on the Hub or on Hubris. I chose Hubris. I also decided to stop a lot of other things as well, such as contributing to the Mosaic project and whatnot. I'm getting older and finding trouble multi-tasking these days. But, really, 99.9% of people think of "The Hub" as this forum rather than the web site itself, so it's just there now as a jumping off page with the important links to here, the eGroup and the Underbase.

Well you don't sound confused. I was when I started typing. True. Fair enough! I don't know what you have to pay to get a domain name - trust you're not too much out of pocket. Martin

It's pretty minimal to be honest.
A standard .co.uk domain is something like £8.99 a year or something.
And then webhosting itself is about that per month as there's very little bandwidth used up.

I like the design of the Hubris website and I have purchased a couple of Hubris issues off it.

The issues arrived today - thanks Graham.
I've had a quick flick through them but won't read them until I've got more time. That way I can fully enjoy what's in them.
