I was very pleased to see BBC7 are repeating a run of Hancock's Half Hour. I've always loved these old radio shows. So wonderfully silly. Sadly, the TV show wasn't a patch on it. By then Hancock had alienated a lot of people so cast members and writers were booted (though The Blood Donor and The Lift are of course sublime).
The radio version benefits from Sid James and Kenneth Williams, the latter always very funny in particular. Here's a good episode, with a fine escalation of madness:
