Half way through watching season 2 again. SO good. Why is there no Telos style making of book for this series? I demand Big Finish make season 3. I'm going to write letters and everything and get questions asked in parliament.

BF have been asked many times about doing Tripods. I suspect there are rights issues.

Having finished rewatching the series I wanted to read the comic strip because I never have, but that twitter poster didn't finish what they were doing. I went looking and found a couple of archives online that had scans of BEEB, but having collated various sources came to the conclusion they were all from the same origin. So I nabbed the highest quality I could get of those scans (far higher res than the twitter posts, but still just jpegs) and did a very quick and dirty straighten/crop scan bed backgrounds off/tweak levels to present the pages in a slightly better format. The cover is a ten-minute super-fast job, nothing like what I'd usually do. The whole run of twenty parts (57 pages) is here in a cbr if anyone wants: drive.google.com/file/d/1wCSRxydGFclpHW_MDyM9PiyhUU4gAqJT/view?usp=sharingSadly it's obviously unfinished as Beeb seemed to get cut off without notice (no mention in issue 20 it's the last), but there's gorgeous John Burns art there that should be appreciated. Beeb also had original strips for One by One, Grange Hill and Automan. Tripods was obviously high profile as it's the only strip still in colour by the end of the run, aside from the one page funnies for The Family Ness and Bananaman.

Half way through watching season 2 again. SO good. Why is there no Telos style making of book for this series? et voila! tripods.graphetti.co.nz/Nice article in SFX this month about the TV show because it's 40th anniversary time on Sunday. It also notes there was a 14 part behind the scenes/interviews podcast a couple of years ago, Tripodscast. Sunday is a neat anniversary date, I'm feeling another rewatch coming on.
