Saw this yesterday.
Allegedly Clint's last film in front of the camera and he certainly goes out on a high. A great performance from him and a cast of relative unknowns. The only other person who I knew right away was the wife of one of his sons who was the love interest in Rocky Balboa.
Well worth watching.
Clint does the best growl in cinema history. I just wish DC would get round to doing an animated adaption of The Dark Knight Returns and let Clint play Batman.

Pretty good, but I prefered Changeling which he did a few months back, and I'm wondering did I prefer that because of the better standard of acting? The unknown cast of Gran Torino kinda put me off. Eastwood was excellent himself though.
I think I failed the test, which is when Eastwood starts singing at the end you're either so engrossed in the movie it seems a perfect fit or you haven't engaged that much and Eastwood singing sucks you right out, and I'm afraid I was kinda sucked out.

I heartily recommend Glasgow's 18 screen Cineworld, who are no doubt showing this. Ahem.

If they have it on next Friday when I am next in the money, I shall make a trip.
