Very well done, though rather too grizzly for my tastes. A pale-faced Johnny Depp as a barber slitting the throats of his rich customers and tossing them down a chute for Helena Bonham-Carter to make into pies that Londoners can't get enough of, singing as they go.
It's a Tim Burton film, so visually it's like his Batmans and Sleepy Hollow, with songs not of the calibre of A Nightmare before Christmas, but probably at least as good as The Corpse Bride.
If you like those films but can do without Nightmare's feel-good side, and are happy with Kill Bill-style blood spurting, then you should enjoy it. Those last two caveats are the reasons I won't be getting it on DVD.

I really enjoyed the movie, but felt the songs were very disappointing. Not the level i was expecting. A bit of a shame really. I think it would have worked better as a standard film to be honest. I enjoyed the grisly parts, to be honest.
The Missus loved it though.
