Ah bless you BBC. Robin Hood is resurrected once more for another 45 minutes of hilarious comedy. Oh wait it is supposed to be a drama series Any thoughts on the season opener? I thought as usual it was endearingly lame. The best bit was when the moon did a speed-eclipse and no-one really noticed, and then Robin Hood stood on the battlements waving his arms in a 'shoot me shoot me' motion. Also how he fell off a giant CGI cliff into a ravine with only a few bruises Also Friar Tuck must have found an amazing medieval barber

I think it is telling that all the classic mythos characters that they were so against adding in season 1 have turned out to be the more interesting ones.

I had to watch the Season 2 finale to recap on what happened. It seems so long ago now.
It would have been better for the Season 3 beginning to have started with a recap montage of past events to get the viewer back on track and then squeed in Tuck's small intro. That's how I would have edited the episode anyway.
Friar Tuck was different than I expected. Fair play to the show for expressing its own interpretation of the characters. I like him.
If I remember right, this will be Jonas Armstrong's last season. The BBC could either fold the show or introduce another 'Robin' like ITV did.
