;D well he didnt give us Mr Blobby so that was a big plus for him.
59 is too young. I could never understand the dislike for the guy. He made a couple a show and for some reason people who didnt like them decided they didnt like him. Odd.

I think some people thought a few of the pranks he did were in poor taste.

Sad to hear indeed. I never knew he did so much for charity.

Oh, John!
Sad to hear of someone dying, no matter who they are. Never really took to him as a television presenter.
Funny thing the media, Beadle's death has been completely overshadowed by Britney Spears's admission to a hospital.

Really? Beadle's death was on the front page of the Metro, and your post is the first I've heard about Ms Spears' latest incident. Not that I'm complaining.

Sorry to hear about this sad loss. I quite enjoyed his shows back in the day.

Its definetly a sad loss to the world of British TV. He was one of those entertainers who made you stay in on a Saturday evening unlike todays celebrities. Yesterday, somebody at work brought up this subject and I had to laugh at what he said. 'Did you know that bloke off TV has died? I can't remember his name but he did Beadle's About.'
