What's sitting on your to do list waiting to be done ?
I've got a RID article for Andy, some Armada and Energon reviews that I'm making no headway with
The last disc of the Starfleet DVDs is unwatched as is the new Tripoids set
I've barely started the essential Power Man & Iron Fist v2, and I bought a pile of Marvel annuals I'm yet to read

Well there's that novel... I should really get cracking on it. I showed Shane McCarthy's anonymous fan the rough notes and he said it was the most awesome thing he'd ever read.

I like the order in which those items came to you, Blueshift!
Not much here - my preferred way of working and living is to keep a clear desk with things spending very little time in my in-tray. When I have things outstanding they haunt my thoughts till I get them done.
It wouldn't hurt this summer to re-paint the white woodwork inside my house, or put a protective coating on the new fence, but neither is a must-do. I'll probably do the fence but leave the woodwork till it gets less white.
In terms of bigger life priorities, I may one day fall in love and start a family, but I'd just as soon it not happen, as I'm pretty content with the simple, easy life I have now, and have plenty of rewarding extra-curricular activities to fill my time - which I'd have to cut back on drastically if my status changed changed. Hate to lose any of them, to be honest.
The only thing I keep planning to do but never get round to is starting to watch a bit of S4C on a regular basis, as it would no doubt do wonders as a supplement to my Welsh classes.

Hate to lose any of them, to be honest. You do know you CAN have it all Martin. You just need to make sure they're fully compatible with your own interests (or at least both acknowledge that you each need you-time to do your own thing for your own sanity). My to-do list includes: Write my audit report for my work's Foundation Degree provision *yawn but needs to be done asap so I've take it home with me*. Finish writing my PhD chapter on Moral Principles and Moral Knowledge. Sort out the wedding venue, photographer, and all the other stuff. Write my AA mag article. I think this list has too much writing on it

My main priority in life is learning my job, passing the 6-month probationery period and not being fired. There is nothing else.

I've got a few DVD's to finish watching, four TF comic books including the Hubris issues which Graham furnished me with a short time ago, an Indiana Jones novel to finish reading, about six more James Bond novels, some songs to put onto my Ipod, two or three CD's to listen to and the final arrangements to my trip to this years Auto Assembly to sort out.

I think my main priority, similarly to Ralph, is making a good enough go of my new job that I get kept on at the end of three months probation. I have still to fully dodge the redundancy bullet, although I can see the edge of its engagement cone from here which has to be a good thing.
Outside of work my unfinished business would include an article for the Auto Assembly magazine, a story I am working on that is intended for the TMUK Yahoo group/Hub airing in due course, getting around to assembling the transforming model kit that has been sitting on the breakfast bar in the kitchen for a month and working my way through a pile of books that I have accumulated for the reading of.

Phew! I saw the title of this thread and thought Phil was going to go and kill someone!
Having a patio laid in the back garden. Hopefully it'll be finished by the weekend.

I'm hoping it was an inferior previous patio. If you're concreting over bare earth, I hope you're not in a drainage-poor flood plain! Martin

Anyone that dies within the boundaries of my property will be given to the dog. The patio is for my tomato plants! (And it's nearly finished, the manservants are doing well.)

I need to look for/find/apply for/be accepted at a better job. I've got a good degree from a good uni. I want to use it. Unfortunately whenever I am confronted by a 26 page application form with three or more essay questions on my initiative and problem solving skills I just lose the will completely. Next time I do one I should just copy the answers into a word document because it's always the same questions.
On a less weighty note, I have to leave feedback for some eBay items which means a few bits of trial and error on Babelfish.
I have to get an early night because I'm up at quarter to seven tomorrow. Boo.
