Hi guys, I know I shouldn't give myself a plug, but I was interviewed recently by the guys over at www.thetransformers.net and it went live over the weekend so feel free to pop over and take a look. It's got quite a few bits of news about AA2009 and updates on new additions to the convention  and some general things about the convention too! It's a good interview. Maybe we could do one ourselves at AA. Maybe Ralph can bring along his camcorder and make one for his Stardub channel.

I would need a much better camera to do that (the resolution is crap). I hope to pick up a better one at some point.

Simes, your boundless enthusiasm makes me think "roll on August!" but then I remember that I still can't drive and that without a license I may find it difficult to get my stock down to Brum and it becomes a case of "August, stay where you are!" -Nick |

Just get the Scots Crew to take an extra suitcase each to carry it all. If they need convincing, just tell them they'll have more room to carry their new goodies back!  |

Is there anyone travelling from near you who could van (car) share to help you out? If it helps, I can send something out with the next mailing to all attendees or put an appeal on the AA website.

Ha! I have the same problem! We were lucky not to get stopped by the police last year, the car was so full. I looked into hiring a van this year, but don't much fancy the cost so will probably be taking stuff up to my brother's in Worcester the week before, for my Dad to pick up once we've dropped off the first load at the hotel.  |
