Auto Assembly 2009 Single Day Tickets Available!

After three months of waiting, single day tickets for Auto Assembly 2009 are now on sale but for a limited period only! Europe's biggest Transformers convention, taking place this August in Birmingham, England, is already on course for another record attendance this year. Now, for those of you unable to make if for the full weekend you have the chance to buy tickets for either the Saturday or Sunday!

Tickets for either day cost £25 for adults, £18 for children, students or senior citizens and under 5's as always are free. However, we have limited numbers of one-day tickets available right now and we have just 25 available for each day so if you want to come along for just the day then you need to book NOW! Further one-day passes may be available at a later date, but these are the only ones we can guarantee at the moment.

Single day attendees will get access to the FULL convention on your chosen day including all the dealers, workshops, all the guest talks, FREE autograph sessions, our goodie bags, and everything else that weekend attendees have. However, weekend attendees gain earlier admission to the convention and have access to the exclusive Saturday evening programme with our voice actor script reading, live band and disco and the bonus Friday evening programme.

Full weekend tickets are now at their normal price following the end of our "early bird" discounts and are £45 for adults and £35 for children/students/senior citizens with under 5s being FREE. Family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) for just £145 saving £15!

If anyone is planning on coming along JUST for the Saturday, we have only got SIX tickets left! We do have quite a few for the Sunday at the moment and I'm updating the programme of activities on the website including details of talks, workshops and more and the way things are looking with the comic guests I may have to add a THIRD comic panel to give everyone the chance to have some time on the mic!

Right now I don't know how many more Saturday tickets will be available for sale in the future, but I won't be releasing any until all of the current block of Sunday tickets have sold out as well.

Yeah, we've got a lot of tickets left but I've just released the single day tickets in limited quantities for now because I want to keep a balance with the numbers of people at the convention on each day and if we had a "free for all" on one day tickets that wouldn't happen!

Right now we're up to 223 pre-registrants (waaaaay ahead of where we were this time last year!) so we're well on course to smash the European attendance record) but our total limit is 550 per day. That could either be 550 weekend attendees or 500 weekend attendees, 50 Saturday and 50 Sunday or any other variation as long as the total on each day is no more than 550 so who knows what the total figure will be!!

The ideal one for anyone I'd say would either be 424 (meaning they're officially helped us set a NEW European record) or 500! ;D

332 is the holy number, for it represents the number of issues of the Marvel comic, for me still the best version of Transformers.
