Right those of you averse to yaar vision get across and watch the only really good x-men cartoon we are ever likely to see!

I've been following this on the iPlayer and I have to say I remain rather impressed with its first eleven episodes. It is doing a good job of developing its own spin on the mythology - coming across as a sort of remix of the films, previous cartoons, and elements from the comics. It is even slowly building up a story arc as it goes.
The voice directing is quite good as well (heck, this is the show that convinced me that Kari Walgren(Emma) and Yuri Lowenthal (Iceman) are decent voice actors, after being extremely unimpressed with their work in the previous thing I heard them in).
A lot of fun, and it even managed to make me tolerate Gambit for a while which is a feat in itself.

Aired through to ep 22 now (I've watched up to 21). Jings, it's going like a rocket now.

Not seen the last few eps will get yarring them at some point. Very impressed with the show though.
The sort of clarity and focus the X-toons have never been able to have, with some very good touches with the characters.

I've been following this on Iplayer. I'm up to about episode twenty and I have to say that I am very impressed. Although it started out feeling it was going to be a fairly disposable episodic thing it has built its story-arcs very well, and they are moving at a terrific lick.
It has a decent eye for characterisation and a pretty good voice-director on it as well.

Just got round to watching the 3-part finale of season 1. Cracking stuff, with verve and drama often sorely lacking in kids TV. More! More!

Liked the ending - but is that the same Sinister? from the mid series. shouldn't be.

Why not? He had occasional ties to the Big A in the comics- even managed to borrow some of his Celestial tech, too, which might explain the elaborate cloning gubbins in his Lair of Evil.

Did have him working for Apocalpyse in the series with Archangel turning up, but the AOA Sinister [with Cyclops & Apoc at end of series one] would make it seem like they travelled across time.

Remember the scene is in the future so Sinister has probably just changed his look.

That would make Cyclops story interesting, with how the series started out with Scott not wanting to be part of the team.

I did find the Apocalypse ending pretty random and nonsensical though. It would have made as much sense if some blokes had walked out of a giant beach ball while folk shouted: "DAVE! DAVE! DAVE!" Great show overall though. Never thought an x-men show would be made that I actually liked! -Ralph

Magma was rescued by Wolverine in the Gambit episode. There was a young woman fith red hair and flame abilities in the Sentinel concentration camp in the future, when Xavier is captured. She's the one I'm thinking of, And I'm pretty convinced it was our Angelica.

I see a DVD has appeared with the first 6 episodes "plus special BONUS EPISODE!". So, that would be episode 7 then.
It's only on kids DVD's where some of the actual main content is described as 'bonus', FFS!

Seeing that the single DVD are £3 each - is there 4 or 5 for the series? Hope they do a series 2, this is pretty good - repeated a lot on BBC.
