There was once a time when I poked fun at the crooked early Transformers "Crossover" line with its unconvincing human modes and butt-ugly mutated designs.
Then for some reason after buying Marco the Gorilla at a car boot sale and being given a boxed Ax the Scorpion as a cheering up present - these things grew on me!
In short, I am after more Animorphs (even doubles) and want to take them in. I want to provide a good home for these mocked mutations and am looking to either purchase or swap stuff for any.
Thanks for reading

I got a couple recently, not sure which ones. I'll have a look.

I don't have any at the moment, but do have them from time to time. I'll keep you in mind.
There are some nice transformations amongst the series. I have always said that if they were robots rather than humans, they'd have been really popular in the mainstream. Did I see on Facebook that you'd become a "Fan of Animorphs"?

Tis true, series-wise. I recentley acquired all 20 episodes of season 1 and will later get the minute season 2. Not a bad series, but if done today could be potentially pulled off a lot better. I hear the books are good too . Ta for keeping me in mind, Nigel. Appreciated

I've only ever read one book, though I've got a couple of dozen of them. It was good, as I recall. Also, not too taxing, being a kids' book. I remember buying the videos from WH Smith in Stirling.

Some of the transformations are quite neat and clever, especially the later ones. Some are bad. Especially most of the deluxes with the animal feet attaching over hands as 'gloves'. Tut tut. Some are unforgivable. I'm looking at YOU, Tri-Rex www.tfu.info/1999/Animorphs/JakeTriRex/jake.htm

Imagine Tri-Rex as a robot, though. It would be vastly improved.
The best way to look at Tri-Rex is not as human forms, but mid-morph forms. Look at the human faces - I reckon that's what Hasbro was aiming for.

Oh c'mon, one of them has a T-Rex /tail/ for an arm with loads of panels hanging off them, the other one has t-rex legs for arms. It is horrid no matter robot or person!
The head guy is okay. But that's not a good hit ratio.

I only ever had one Animorph. It was a wolf-thing I pulled from a bargain bin in Poundstretchers many years ago. It...was...well, um.

I had trirex briefly years ago I was quite disappointed because I had the head bit before that (and still do) and quite like it, as long as I didn't think of it as human. The other two parts were horrific and trying to put it back in to Trex gave me an idea of Ralphs Ultra Magnus experience.
I like using hte forearms as its legs. I keeping thinking I should add a TM Meg tail and make a super deformed BW Megatron or something.
The rest are a bit bad though.

I love them . They have a TMNT style appeal to me. I managed to score the beetle version of Marco (sealed) recentley. Apparentley that, and a Stingray version of Jake are Euro Exclusives or something. ===KEN

Fair enough, it's easy to see why you don't like it. I'm not a fan of silly oversized (non) arms myself. I do think Tri-Rex would be better as a robot, though. Compare those limbs with, for example, Beast Wars Megatron, Armada Scavenger or Movie Bonecrusher.
