Wow, I'm a little amazed that it looks that good still.

I'm shocked Knightmare has never come back. It was a great concept, and would be cheap as chips to make now!

It was very interactive. I often found myself shouting at the screen. "No! Turn left! Left! LEFT!"

It indeed was a classic show and one that I never missed when I was younger. The main problem though is that CGI isn't as big and exciting today as it was back in the day. Besides, would making a new series be worth watching considering that these days producers tend to ruin any remake they get their grubby hands on.

I watched a great retrospective on Knightmare a couple of months back but my googlefu fails me and I can't find the link.

I saw a documentary about it a while ago - I think it was on Challenge TV just prior to them screening episodes of Knightmare.

This was awsome back in the day (although kids on TV often annoyed me) and I've enjoyed watching the first episode. Glad to see there's more and surprised it still looks good. The lifeforce meter is wonderfully gruesome.

I always used to enjoy watching the lifeforce meter tick down until the dungeoneer was dead.
