Is that Logic of Empire the fan play? Or did they remake it?

I've watched seven or eight I think. Any spare opportunity when I can get in front of the TV by myself for an hour. I'll do one this evening if I can get this decorating finished. Definitely one tomorrow. I'm really enjoying it. It's a great series. S1 can go toe to toe with any of the other great space shows such as the original Star Trek or Blake's 7. S2 is garbage. -Ralph Ooh I wouldn't quite go that far. B7 is peerless.

It's odd you say that, because for the most part the hardcore fan base will tell you S3 is the best one. I've never agreed with that either. I think it's because it's where Avon comes to the fore.

For me, 1 is best. Then 4. Then 2. Then 3.

I think I would probably agree with you there. Although maybe swap 2 and 3. Rumours of Death, Children of Auron and Terminal are pretty special. But then Pressure Point and Star One are also strong.

The Star One plot was such a letdown when we eventually got there and then Shit Travis just easily falls down a hole! No way.

4, 1, 3, 2
I need to quantify s3 over s2. S2 meanders badly at times. Bar Redemption, Pressure Point and Star One, little stands out.
The poor bits of 3 are REALLY poor, and it is quite a bit of the season. Mostly but not exclusively when the curly haired idiot is doing his "I'm in charge" impression in the fist half. First two episodes are great but then....
But, as I explained when I blogged s3, it's because Avon has his mind on other things. You can see the precise moment in City on the Edge of the World when he goes "That's enough" and takes over. After that you get Children of Auron, Rumours of Death and Blake. Yeah there's some toilet, especially Moloch but that's Ben Stead and only one of his episodes is OK - Power.
S4 is much maligned. It's fab. Apart from Animals. That can jump off a cliff. Bad Things in Animals when you get thinking about it and not even Mavic Chen can save it.

Can you not see the back of the laser cannon, mainly the ridged side panels with the two black squares above them, to the left of the picture?

Not bad. Definitely worth a watch. Flawed for sure, but enjoyable. The obvious stuff like the CGI and the music was impressive. The music jarred a bit because although it was good at adding atmosphere to the action sequences, it just didn’t sound like B7 music so it took me out of the scenes rather than drawing me in more. Especially in the first space battle where it was so loud you couldn’t hear the actors properly. The CGI was great, very like the updated effects they’re putting as options in Who DVD releases. My only worry there was that most of the shots wanted to make the Liberator look like a large and very heavy battleship, until all of a sudden it could turn on a sixpence. Particularly right at the end where it draws back from the pursuit ship really slowly, then angles up 45 degrees in an instant to move away. The sense of realism was lost.
