Seeing the Knightmare thread reminded me of something I'd been meaning to post for a while now.

The entire series of the 80's Astro Boy is here on YouTube. Surprisingly it's all official. Presumably it's to generate interest in the forthcoming CG feature. Would have prefered a sampling of the 60's version TBH, but I'm not going to complain about a freebie.

Shall have to watch that. The latest Astro Boy series is on Itunes as well. It looked pretty damned good.

I know nothing about Astro Boy. Today, in FPG, I was perusing the new titles. One was identified as an Astro Boy movie tie-in. The cover depicted a mostly naked young boy in what looked like swimming trunks while he smiled at the reader. No way in hell was I going to flick through that! It looked deeply wrong!
