Hooray for Titan!
Just felt like saying that.

Hooray!
Fine cover-mounted tat, letters pages which amusingly belittle young children and packing loads of story into every 11-page instalment. Oh, and the issues are never late.

They're called Titan because they're giants among men!

The second anniversary of the UK comic is almost upon us which makes it the second longest running TF UK comic in history.

Is that just counting UK comic - if count US then 3rd.
UK 1-332 UK Titan 1-25 last issue, so we need v2 to get past #30. US 1-80

Titan has not only outlasted every non-Marvel TF UK comic, it's also outlasted Blackthorne and Generation 2 - and once it reaches 31 issues, it'll have outlasted Dreamwave's Armada/Energon!
Then it'll just be a bit longer before it outlasts Dreamwave entirely!

It's got the potential to at least last a year after the third Transformers film... it could even outrun the original Marvel UK Transformers comic.

I think it depends on how sales hold up with the relaunch for the Fallen Dave film. I'm in no hurry to see the comic go away (I enjoy it) but magazine launches are currently toxic due to the advertising implosion. A lot of magazines have died at the newsstand this year.

I think it depends on how sales hold up with the relaunch for the Fallen Dave film. The Star Wars one seems to have held up, so with luck...

Cheaper to produce, though. Transformers has 11 pages of originated strip content plus cover. Star Wars is all reprints (content wise - not sure if they have originated covers).

Also this time it will have to go three years between movies. If Fallen Dave was still 13 months away right now who here would bet on the comic lasting till its release?
Hopefully Hasbro will have something planned to fill the longer gap that will be a big hit and can be wrapped into the current comic.

Also this time it will have to go three years between movies. Oh god, will it? I hope there's a cartoon in the meantime...
