I concurr. Anything in the Animated style screams for colour.
But I suspect you're already planning that, right? Hence 'work in progress'...

That's awesome!
I think Animated Prime's faceplate goes over his nose though, having the nose-slit is a bit offputting

Nice work Gav. Missed you posting the initial black-and-whites but that is some nice work. The animated style is clearly something that works well for you.
The colour job is absolutely fantastic as well.
