One show I still enjoy today and probably always is this classic peice of 80's Saturday tea-time TV.
Despite some of the un realistic cliches (i.e bullets missing things, people unscathed from car crashes etc), this is one of the few programes left I feel I can turn off my film student brain to and enjoy it for what it is.
I dug out my seasons 1-4 boxsets recentley and started indulging in the show again so I thought I'd share the love. I'm hoping to get season 5 soon to finish the circle.
"I love it when a plan comes together".
As for this upcoming film, I have low expectations. I just don't think a modern day A Team would work, let alone an A Team without the dynamic of the original cast. Maybe by some miracle it turns out to be good.

I remember an episode where a helicopter crashed into a cliff. The bad guys inside the helicopter then got out, covered in soot and shaking their fists.
Also the cabbage cannon
It was amazing.

New A-Team will never be as good, because I am not 8 anymore. Loved it back in the day.

I don't really like the A Team but my brother loves it and has all of the DVD boxsets. I stand with Ken on the opinion that a new A Team movie won't work. It was a thing of its day and times have changed a lot since then. The way movies are made these days are completely different to how they used to be made and it just wouldn't have the same fun factor as the original TV series. Also, the cast were excellent (and this is coming from a non-fan of the show). How could they possibly find replacements for the original members and still make it look good?

I enjoy watching seasons 1 and 3 every now and then but 2 and 4 were pretty poor. I can see why they felt the need for change for season 5 but it is so terrible I've only made it through the first half dozen or so episodes.

Season 5 killed my interest in the show stone dead. I think I only managed about 4 or 5 episodes.

From almost never watching telly (and only having 4 channels to not watch), I had some quality time recently with a cable HD TV and the A-Team was the only thing that didn't disappoint. It would probably suck if I watched more of it.
