Actually, it does not appear to be a single bad movie - it appears to be bits of several different bad movies with the same cast stitched together into a Frankenfilm. Different scenes wouldn't even appear to be from the same film if it wasn't for them all having the same abysmal cinematography.

Are you talking about the first or second film? I've only seen the second which I enjoyed on some level. Probably the mental violence.

There have been 3 Punisher films. This is the one where John Travolta is the villain.

It did'nt think it was too bad, but not the kind of film I want to watch again. The explosion bit at towards the end was quite cool. It was kind of interesting seeing two Crow villains team up for some scenes . The time I did watch this was during a visit to Toronto during the Easter of 2004 where I watched this, Kill Bill vol2 and Hellboy on the same day and mainly for the novelty of seeing them months in advance. Punisher was the only of the three films I did'nt see get a theatrical release. I hear Punisher: War Zone is much worse. ===KEN

I thought that film was amazing Ralph! All it was missing was a polar bear scene, and then it would have been perfect.

I thought it was hilariously bad. I like at the start how ALL of Frank Castle's family are wiped out. Not just his wife and two children but every member of the Castle family in such splendid overkill.
Travolta was bloody dreadful and Will Patton was entirely wasted in this.
