Well, it's Brave Exkaiser. Says so at the top. One of eight series called Brave, with toys manufactured by Takara. They reused a few TF moulds in it, but Snarl is a new one on me. One thing Brave really loved was combining- in some series (like Might Gaine), the entire line would be able to combine into one humungous, tooled-up robot. Rather than being sentient robots, the Brave mecha were generally piloted by humans. I've managed to get quite a few figures from Brave Express Might Gaine and Brave of Command Dagwon, but Exkaiser is probably more Karl's field of expertise. You can see pictures of the toys here but info on the shows is pretty thin on the ground. -Nick

Not seen that before. I'm not aware of a toy being available for this "Armor Geist" character. At a guess I would say that he is probably a supporting villian - which would have pretty much guaranteed him not getting a toy (you have to be lead villian or lead sub-villian to get a toy in Brave). (That would also explain why I don't recall him being prominent in any of the material I've read on the show)
I'd suspect that what happened was that Sunrise and Takara just went riffling through Takara's stack of mecha looking for anything that might be decent - a few Transformers designs ended up recycled for the various Brave shows.
