Of all the TFs you bought at AA, how many of them were impulse purchases? Is there anything you planned to get? Or did you have a set amount of money to use for what ever took your fancy at the convention?
Do tell!

Most of my purchases were well thought out this year, out of necessity. I had a relatively small initial budget as I'd spent so much buying in stock and didn't want to spend too much of my takings. I had £78 to spend at the start of the weekend, which I'd made from selling some old stuff at car boot sales over the last few weeks. Out of that, I had to make sure I bought the convention mug and comic plus Mickey Mouse if it was available at a good price (which it was). The remainder was spent on a semi-impulse basis, as it wasn't intended for anything in particular but I had to think about what to buy, which turned out to be the Universe Special Editions, Overkill, Megatron and Drag Strip.
The rest of what I bought was mulled over and wasn't bought until Sunday. Universe Silverbolt, I only bought at AA on the rational basis that I was able to get it for £15 which was even cheaper than the £18.75 it's currently on clearance at in Tesco.
My sole wholly impulse buy was a Gorillabot from Nick.

Garry and maybe Henkei Cyclonus were my only two impulse buys, besides some bargain hunting at the end of Sunday. My budget was up to £150 Which garry aside I stuck to. Most of it reserved from Nick and T4e.
I wish I'd grabbed Animated Skywarp and the henkei Cosmos minibot pack. And Universe Starscream. And some more Acid Storms.

I hadn't went with a list other than hoping Encore Metroplex and/or the re-issue Predacons would be there. They weren't, so hey ho. I had pre-ordered Botcon Scourge and Encore Convoy so I knew I'd be getting them. Other than that, just picked up what took my fancy with the benefit of what will almost certainly be my highest con purchase budget ever freely available to splurge with. Though G2 Prime was something I had been trying to pick up at every previous con, so only half-impulse there.
I'm not planning on buying any more TF stuff this year (due to going overboard at AA) other than comics to keep myself on budget as I don't know when I'll be offered another job and also as I have more than enough to keep me happy for a good while. Only exceptions would be the Ark diorama if it comes out and I can afford it at the time. MP-08 Grimlock is the other most-buy but I think that's not due until January?

Star Saber, Victory Leo and Countdown were all pretty much impulse buys. I hadn't planned on getting them but had alway wanted them but didn't want to pay silly money. Unlucky for me that Nick was selling all three at very reasonable prices so now they are mine.
Victory Saber is huge! Very chuffed with him, and Countdowns rocket had me and Ralph laughing for about half an hour on saturday. It was worth £25 just for that.

I had planned to get hold of Hound and Cyclonus, but the Takara Universe Minibots pack was an unexpected bonus.
