Just an appeal to all those who have pitched in for zines in the last two years to head over to the Underbase and update the story list and add some guides. I've started doing that but it's a lot of work for one person. If people want to make material online, there is space at my website for that. I plan on uploading some of the older fanzines I've done in the next week or two. Andy EDIT: The Underbase can be found at www.theunderbase.co.uk/wiki.asp

Ooh, I'll have to check what new has been added.
Thanks for the offer of webspace, but I prefer to keep my old stuff to off-line media nowadays.

Well done there! But please nobody ask me how Magnus dying in 1989 fits in TMUK continuity. I resign! James O'Sullivan understands his biography better than me anyway . Martin

Sounds like a massive continuity error here - bad Graham!

You read the story, right? Because it has Ultra Magnus-2009 still alive.
Continuity error? As. If.

I meant more I'm not sure Magnus can be on Earth during 1989, I did a story a while back where he's offworld during his absence from the comics. You read the story, right? Uh...

Looks like we need a Two Ultra Magnuseses story written ASAP.

It's possible we'll need three. There may have been a clone already knocking around due to Andy Dornan and James Roberts writing conflicting Ultra Magnus Earthforce stories in the early '90s. James O's story may have been specifically written to resolve that. But I really can't remember. (And that's not a figure of speech, I really am starting to forget continuity things!) Either way, definitely need two. Can't have Magnus die in 1989 and then go on to command the Earthforce, build Autobot City, get Mind-Gapped, appear in the Movie, go back in time to appear in Time Wars from the other side, return to the future via the Dark Universe in Parallel Lives, appear in Eugenesis, Relentless, Globequake, etc., etc. That would just be stretching reader's credibility in an otherwise completely plausible, intuitive, easy-to-grasp and not in any way convoluted shared fanfiction timeline. Yeah, the end of my story has Xaaron commissioning a Magnus clone, but I can't really remember why. To be honest, even though I keep posting in this thread, I'm really not that bothered anymore. There isn't really enough fiction being produced anymore to worry about it, continuity in TMUK has become very fluid.

Agreed. I don't mention conflicts with TMUK continuity any more when reviewing stories. The fanfiction timeline's pretty much complete now, so I've started just enjoying stories being based in the Marvel comics TF universe, without worrying about TMUK.
But where does that leave the Underbase?
