Wasn't it those guys from Return of Convoy? Star Convoy, Grandus and Skygarry. Or I guess it could be Metroplex with the Scrabble City Torsos in their 'base modes' |

The Special Team leaders had base modes that connected to Metroplex. At least in Japan. Bad Hasbro for never telling us and taking away our fun! (And thank you, Graham, for telling me.) |
