It seems like everyone is pregnant at the moment! How is this happening? Well, when a mummy and a daddy really like each other they do a bit of hokie cokie and cast a magic spell. Then, nine months later, a stork pops round with a Special Delivery. -Ralph

Ah! That explains it!
Mat, if your brother's still waiting for their baby, it might be worth them checking to see if the stork has left a card so they can pick the baby up from the local depot. Maybe they were out when he tried to make delivery?

Bloody 'ell, how good is Nick Roche's Prowl/Kup AHM episode?! I've gone on 'bout it in the relevant comic thread, but just had to say here how much I enjoyed it and what a fantastic job Roche did with Prowl!

Here we were getting all interested in baby-making and storks making a delivery when you come along and bring Prowl into it!

Well, thematically, Prowl does sort of have a baby in it...

Well I've been getting nothing from the DWP so I'll be making some strongly worded enquiries when I sign on today. If they're not going to give me anything they can fuck right off. I'l be buggered if I'll be treated as sub-human for free.

Treated like the lowest form of human life today. Went in feeling ok, left highly distressed and agitated and in the middle of a very horrible panic attack. There's a new attitude in Job Centre Plus', which can be summed up as: 'if we treat them like scum, they'll get jobs'. I feel that very few of the people working there have any conception that the very nature of their work is that the vast majority of people they come across will be in some degree of vulnerability and should be treated with dignity and respect.
They can't even tell me if I'm entitled to anything. My claim is in a black hole. So, already feeling depressed, the system gets to make me feel worse and I'm not even getting any benefits.
I feel ill. I really do. I just want a fucking job! I'm educated to postgraduate level for fucks sakes.

Sorry to hear that Doc. It's an absolutely shocking attitude for them to have. Andy unfortunately I'm not surprised though, I went to a job center once, and that was enough, I just ran to an agency and signed on there In my experience, they either want: 1) fresh out of school (I mean school, not college, sixth form or even uni) kids who dont have any real idea what minimum wage means 2) 40+ year olds with 30 years of experience 3) Pretty girls Of course they also have those BTEC nad NVQ courses at colleges for people who fail in school, which ironically give them more attractive qualifications then the people who pay crap loads at uni (after I realized this, I gave up on my plans to go to Uni)
