YEAR BY YEAR BREAKDOWN
Anything in bold has already been claimed for definite (although that is purely on the writing front so if you have a hankering as an artist or photographer for a particular idea, drop me a pm and i will put you in touch with who is doing what. At this point if you want to contribute and have a different idea then let me know and we shall hopefully be able to oblige, I would ask that you consider the balance of the magazine, we've tried to acknowledge everything and make a decent mix between comic, cartoon, toys and live action.
I've left the creative teams on each section blank in order to make for some nice welcome surprises when the magazine sees print.

I would have volunteered something victory based for 1989, but it's not on the agenda as it would be a too heavy cartoon bias.
Although I'm more than willing to help out whoever is doing the 1988 Masterforce piece with either a small illustration, colours, writing or anything else within reason.

Thanks for the kind offer Chris.
I shall let the Masterforce writer know and see what they say.

I'd be interested in doing the 1987 Sunbow thing, I have a few ideas for that if it allowed for including seasons 3 & 4.

Might be able to find time to do something on the Beast Wars cartoon - that's got a special place in my heart as it was what got me into Transformers!

Do the things not in bold have anything planned for them besides the guideline here? I mean, I'm interested in maybe some art chores on something, but I'm not really much of a writer... Do you have things already written which needs a penciler/inker?

I could write up something on the Beast Wars toys, especially the starting waves which I found the most interesting. The wife could also asist on that one too.
BW toys were certainly the thing that rebooted my interest in TFs again.
Aside from writing I could mock up a decent decoupage peice to go with it. I'm envisioning a peice Bat Prime and Croc Megs. The writing however will take priority.

I shall chase up the writers and see what they want in terms of pencilling and inking for either strips or spot illustrations. There should be plenty of openings. Andy

Well that would be cool if you can, as I've said the deadline is May and the writing is the priority so if the art is a struggle we can always call on someone to chip in. Andy

Just had another thought... this is a LONG shot but I can always ask Bob Budiansky if he's up for doing a mini interview if someone can give me a hand with questions as I'm not a massive G1 comics buff...
Obviously I'd have to run it past Bob first but what do you think?

That's be a good idea, I can give you a hand with the questions Simon. It'd be an ace fit for 1985, as I was penning an article focusing on the early comics - the Ratchet/Megatron issues through to Prime getting his head back.

If there is anything in colour it would be converted to greyscale before printing. Andy

I've finished my contribution to the mag and e-mailed it to Andy. Don't leave yours to the last minute, folks - it'd be a shame to have missing years in the timeline!
Edit: Hey! I can only see this thread when I'm logged in. How strange! Is that deliberate? (And there's me only ever logging in when I've found a post I want to reply to...)

Yup, I just noticed it was set up as only registered members could see this. It wasn't intentional so I have fixed that.
Thanks very much for your contribution Martin. First past the post.
