Next week's Radio Times contains a review of Transformers on page 57. Premiere of the week (on pay-per-view film channels), it gets its own special box with Prime pictured and a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

Radio Times says;
"A truly innovative blockbuster". Well, well.

But it only contains 'some' violence. Pah!

Which issue of the RT and what page has that review, Graham?
The one I was referring to says:
"Put your brain on hold and just enjoy this adrenalin-fuelled ride, as director Michael Bay unleashes his most overblown blockbuster yet. It's a loud and unashamedly ludicrous tale of warring alien robots who arrive on Earth hunting for a device that enables intergalactic domination. Geeky teen Shia LaBeouf is key to their search, learning of the robots' transformative powers when his "car" develops a life of its own. With cartoonish characters, tongue-in-cheek dialogue and plenty of humour, Bay's ambitious feature delivers fun all the way. What it lacks in narrative complexity, it makes up for in spectacle, seamlessly integrating CGI animation with live action. RT reviewer Sioan Freer"

"unashamedly ludicrous"
Transformers on film in two words- and no, that's not a criticism.

Martin, I quoted the review from www.radiotimes.com. I naturally assumed the review was the same as would appear in the magazine itself. Unless I am looking at website completely unrelated to the Radio Times magazine(!)
