The Fallen's name really is Dave. The film itself makes this clear. The Fallen was previously one of the 'dynasty of Primes' and then was "forever more known as...The Fallen" according to Jetfire. Thus he had a name change! And surely the Primes did not call each other by 'Prime #1', 'Prime #2' and the like.

Thus did they have individual names! And probably quite normal names too, what with them being at the start of the whole Transformers thing. Yes! Names...names such as...Dave!

THUS IT BECOMES CLEAR! THE REVELATION IS UPON US! SO SAY I AND SO IT SHALL BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I HAVE SPOKEN! ODIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!
