Is it a full trailer or a teaser trailer?

Superbowl advertising slots are extremely expensive. Also, it's a bit early for a full trailer, post-production schedule wise. I would be very surprised if it's anything other than a 30 second TV slot.

I'd imagine a coupl'a million dollars for a half-minute slot!
Probably be a "teaser" trailer with only hints of the Transformers and Megan Fox's dewy breasts.

very happy with the designs, glad to see that all transformers don't have to have two legs and two arms. Perhaps four arses!
Edit: not as good quality as the first, stupid paramount

That's wetted my appetite even more. Bay is being really clever with what footage he's showing and saving the best stuff for last.

I watched the HD version on the youtube. You can tell more easily in HD that the effects aren't finished yet (detail, etc flat in a lot of areas at that resolution) but it does the job. Things blow up, Robots stomp about, wisely avoids much dialogue.

Well, they have certainly homed in on what they perceive as the selling points of the film - "Ro-bots! Exploshuns! Ro-bots! Exploshuns!!!". From that point of view it is a very successful trailer - whilst it looks like they have more to do it looks like the effects work will be top-notch as well.

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Paramount Pictures Corp."
Very strange. Why would a trailer ever be protected as copyright? Isn't pirating a trailer effectively free advertising?

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Paramount Pictures Corp." Very strange. Why would a trailer ever be protected as copyright? Isn't pirating a trailer effectively free advertising? Martin It's not seen that way by those who own the copyright. They own the trailers just as much as the finished movie. They would prefer you go to their website, for example, to view a trailer. It is, after all, their material. Also, youtube are being sued by various parties right now re: copyright, so they'll watch their back. Now I tend to go to youtube first as I find it easier to find stuff and convenient to use, I admit, as most movie websites won't work for me (designed for higher speeds) but if it's been pulled hey ho, nowt to moan about. Incidentally, some TV and film companies know people do this anyway so have started channels on youtube: the BBC, a few music and film companies. I have noticed increasingly while searching for youtube that the 'official' channels pop up higher in search results. Which is fair enough. -Ralph

TFW2005 has a few screencapsSeibertron has even more.Doesn't reveal much that's new, although I never noticed Prime crossing in front of what is presumably part of Devastator as it crashes through the overpass at the end. A 70ft behemoth... on a unicycle. I am beside myself with joy. -Nick

All the really best clips won't be used in the trailers I think Bay said. Makes since in that you don't want the audience to be numb to a "Wow moment" for the first time if shown already in a trailer. If you get what I mean.

Ho boy!
Also loving Ravage's design!
And is that giant-sized Beast Machines Thrust-alike just one of the Constructicons?
Those spindly fingers pinning Sam down look suspiciously like Megatron's to me.
Apparently the full teaser trailer will be shown before the Michael-Bay produced "Friday, 13th" in the USA; only in theaters on 13 February. Oh! A Friday.

The HD one is goooood! There are about 2 or three transformers behind the car, and looks as though they are on pogo sticks. Not sure if they are attacking him or following. It's at 00:16

Are they "the twins" pogo sticking in the background?
I get the feeling they're going to be like the pillbug double-act from A Bug's Life!!

Given it's arms I think it's more than likely Devastator. Andy That's the obvious choice, but it looked a bit symetrical to be Devastator. ===KEN

I didn't give a toss about this movie until I saw that there is a giant death dealing robot unicycle creature in it. That's how to sell me on a movie.
