It's saved me a fiver! I was on the cusp of bothering with it in theatres, but I'll pass I think. The Bumblebee scene confirmed the writing quality is as before, and the robots exploding bored me. The wow factor was done in film 1.

I shall still go and see it in the cinema.
Well you will be pleased to know Orci and Kurtzman have said they won't be writing the third film.

Oh, shame.
I'm not really interested until the franchise has run its course and it's down to 'straight to DVD/Blue-Ray/Download/Coloured Blocks of Wood' sequels which are so cheap they're done with puppets round the back of someone's house and the TF's fight GI JOE who are represented by twizzle sticks.

That was crap. Not only crap, but it made me realise the Mikaela/Bumblebee dynamic in Titan is a lot more interesting than the Sam/Bumble one.
Okay, that's one good point - Mikaela in leather jacket and leggings. And that's it.

Robots, explosions and dialogue that is something in the vicinity of having dental surgery (i.e boring and painful). Pretty much what I expected to be honest based on the first film.
If I have the chance to see it on IMAX I may do so, as that would at least do the dumb spectacle part of it justice. T'is probably the only time I'd contemplate paying cinema prices to see it though.

SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER IN DUMB DIALOGUE SHOCKER!
I'm looking forward to it - despite it being daft. If I expect nothing more than explodey robots, I'll have a good time.

I can only assume that scene was included to show how well they can integrate robots and humans into the same shot now. God knows it wasn't for plot or acting reasons.
Heartily approve of Jetfire's appearance and Ricky Tomlinson dialogue- he clearly said "my arse" towards the end of what will hopefully be a nice, long 'old man' rant in the film. Yes, I'll be off to see this. Then I'll see it in IMAX. And Ralph will come with me.

Now you and I both know we can foresee an alcohol level where you run giggling like a schoolgirl in the direction of the cinema to watch Transformers: Revenge of Fallen Dave.

Nah. I'm living on scraps. IMAX ticket plus train travel plus food would not leave me change out of £20. I'm not blowing that on something I have only a slight interest in.
I will, however, be going to see the Wolverine film because it looks hilarious.

Why does BB seem to have turned into a puppy?
"NO. Bad Camaro. Sit. Stay home." "Blub blub blub cry whine"
I hate this more every time I see something to do with this film, it keeps hitting new lows.

I don't tend to go and see things at the cinema in Falkirk (if you had experienced the cinema in Falkirk you would understand my reasoning), so if I do go to see Revenge of Fallen Dave it means a journey to Edinburgh or Glasgow which adds additional time/money to the equation. As a result I have to be able to justify the operation intoto to myself. Hence the decision to see it on the IMAX - where the big dumb exploshuns will be at their most effective, or to not bother and just hang on for the DVD release where I can rent it and watch it from the comfort of my sofa with a pint in my hand..... Karl (not see a trailer for the Wolverine film yet, just the ads on the buses - which do appear rather amusing).
