For the first TF movie, I adamantly stayed away from every single spoiler imaginable, even resorting to spending most of the summer months away from TF sites.
I loved the movie from start to finish, but I couldn't help but feel if I had the anticipation of knowing something MIGHT have happened in the movie, I may have enjoyed it more.
So for TF2 I'm reading every spoiler. And you know what? I'm more excited already than I was for the first one. I'm not even bothered if it all turns out to be false, the speculation is tremendous fun.
What are people's opinions on spoilers for the two movies? Have your opinions changed since the first one?

I stayed away from as many spoilers as I could last time. It was nice to see the film, in its entirety, without really knowing what was going to happen, so I was pleasantly surprised.
I hope to repeat the same this year.

I've come across spoilers unintentionally for both films and these made me want to watch them even more. The same with the toy pics in which are also crawling with spoilers (Watch out at UK Toyfair Nigel!).
I'm not going to go out of my way to see said spoiler material or go out of my way to avoid it either. Fully avoiding anything spoilerific would require staying off TF and Media sites altogether, and living in a hermit cave too.
I hope the UK release date for this isn't as unfair as the first film.

spoilers are alright, but there are so many for this film that I can't be bothered with them!

There's spoilers that could be innocent.
If I were trying to stay 100% unspoiled and came across say a stock image of Megatron on something, it would'nt be that bad. That's a small innocent spoiler. It's not like its a leaked script or anything.

I don't mind spoilers in the sense of knowing which robots are in it. Actually, it will help to be able to identify them in advance.
What I don't want to get swamped with is hype, because it leads to expectations that are unfulfilled. It always seems wrong to me when a film, comic or whatever is discussed more by people before they've seen it than afterwards, due to hype/previews/etc.

I'm with Martinm, I'd prob like to know which characters are in it (fingers crossed for Prowl, Shockwave and THE RETURN OF JAZZ), but storywise, I think I'm gunna avoid. I ended up seeing 'some' plot spoilers last time 'round, so think I'll try and do it the Tomo way this time. Tricky thing is, finding out 'bout characters without finding anything out about the plot!
