Slog! It upsets me that I do now own him. Slag is cool, but not as cool as Grimlock.

Now if we can count the Dinoforce repaint we have an interesting battle... A Triceratops vs a, well, a triceratops with his horns in the wrong place.
Slag's robot mode is the worst of all Dinobots, but then he is up against a little block, so hrm.

I think I'm voting for Slag. He is my least favourite Dinobot, but I'm afraid I don't care for Pretender Monsters at all.

I only memory of actually playing with a Slag is when I was but a boy, playing with my friend's. My friend's Slag. (that still doesn't sound right!). I remember him being a very good Dinobot toy. I forget which monster pretender I have, but I've no doubt that Slag is way better than any block of a monster pretender!

The Dinoforce pretender shell is great, the monster shells look good, the inner robots are fairly dire. A brick. They do combine though. Crazy colour bonus points.
Slag, design classic. A brick. Doesn't combine. Crazy colour bonus points for the G2 incarnation.
Thats a tie.
Hmm, I dont own the crazy colour point scoring version of either so deduct those marks... and it's still a draw.
Tie break, I own Slag, I dont own Slog, just a junker of the repaint. So the winner is Slag!
..........Ah actually Slag is my brothers, even if its been in my care for 20 years, so ....... tie.
Wait I do own the crazy coloured G2 KO modified Slag, thats good enough for me. Ownership and crazy colour bonus, plus funky KO modification bonus for the win.
