We have never had annuals every year of the comic - or for the toy line. Or we would have 25 now.
But [going by print year not annual year stated on cover] we had
1985 - Insecticon story & Tracks/Ravage text. 1986 - Victory! 1987 - Galvatron 1988 - Time wars lead in 1989 - Pretenders / powermasters 1990 - Classics 1991 - after #332 1994 - G2 2004 - Armada #6,7 2005 - Energon #20 2007 - story book Movie. 2008 - Animated 2009 - ROTF
We had listed Energon/Cybertron annual for 2006 - but this never saw print. Mainly not having the issues - but they could have printed another DW Energon issue in it. Think also annual listed for 2002 [RID], 2003 in the UK that never got printed.
But if you had to make annuals for the years we did not have one released [note: you can't have new story because you only have budget for reprints of anything that's been printed - but also note that a UK annual was released that reprinted the Wizard Marvel 1/2 comics - so you could have a comic reprinted the Botcon comics]
So what would you have in the missing years - keeping in with the toy line out at the time.

The 1995 annual should be Dinobots collection to try & make you forget that you ever picked up the 1994 annual & read it.
what i would have placed in the issues -
92 - B&W 93 - B&W
G2 issues 95 - G2 #1 96 - G2 #2,3 97 - G2# 6,7
Beast Wars era 98 - Dinobot Hunt 99 - National interest 00 - Grudge match + Dinobot heavy Earthforce stories
Beast Machines 01 - BW/BM profiles & screen crabs
RID 02 - #139,140 showing Combaticons RID profiles 03 - Combaticons again #141,142
06 - Energon #30 with Cybertron profiles.

1993 could have compiled the TF-related bits from the US G.I. Joe comic and US G2 #2, so as to lead into the Fleetway G2 comic.
1995-7 could then pick up where the Fleetway comic left off and between them contain US G2 #6-12.
US G2 #1 didn't need a UK printing because Fleetway gave us a different version in the UK.
Not that I particularly liked the G2 comics, but given we had the Fleetway comic, this would have been the best way to fill those annuals.

Could there have been an issue with showing the GIJoe issues - while should be ok having Gijoe in the Transformers issues [dont know if they had the rights at the time.] Marvel still had right to TFCC from #20-27 1994 while G2 was out from Fleetway. Actionman didnt show up until late 90's?
