Seriously, I can't read them. There are random replies to random unseen messages all over the place. What order are they supposed to be in?

Sometimes the youtube feedback system farts and replies are randomly distributed.
But then, to be honest, very little of the discourse in youtube comments is worth reading. It's like people leave their brains behind when they post.

I've noticed that too. There has been many a slagging match going on for some videos on Youtube.

Yeah, youtube comments are not worth wasting your time on, unless you're bored and wanting to amuse yourself with gratuitous stupid.

The second one was written before YouTube implemented the functionality to actually hear your comment back before posting. XKCD takes credit for making the internet slightly better.
