You've forgotten one:
Martin's league table:
1. The Muppets episode 2. The original trilogy, in whatever order 3. Rogue One 4. The prequel trilogy, in whatever order 5. The Force Awakens, for its unoriginal plot

A New Hope Return Of The Jedi Empire Strikes Back The Phantom Menace The Force Awakens Revenge Of The Sith The Clone Wars Attack Of The Clones Battle For Endor Caravan Of Courage Not seen the Holiday Special or Rogue One. The Ewok films are at the bottom because I know I've seen them, but I can only really remember bits of them, no plot or any thing. Battle for Endor more though because Spoiler I remember the way the family is offed at the start quite vividly! On any given day I may swap Phantom Menace and Revenge Of The Sith around.

Edit: as I lost what I was replying too.
Anyway I finally found my copy of Carrie Fishers Princess Leia SNL show. It is highly bizare, but does feature a gold bikini clad Leia which does make me wonder if its where Lucas got the idea from.

What if... Old Man Luke is only revealed at the end of the first movie... like Spock in Unification Part I? Or even worse held back until the *next* movie to tease Andu.. I mean... the fans even more?? Prophetic Words There would be fatalities in the cinema... Andy Were there?

Probably. I know the first thought that went through my head when I saw the ending of TFA was: "Andu will go insane", which I imagine was a minority response to the final scene.

I'd still like at least one Ewan McGregor prequel and wouldn't be against a Long Long Long time ago Yoda film. I'd also like to see Ashoka get a film or appear in one, either a prequel or just fudge her or her species lifespan a bit and bring her in to the series current time period. I really really dont care about Bobba Fett. Boba Fett has always been a character whose popularity baffles me. I will not be watching his solo film. Obi-Wan, I am all in for though, as soon as they announce it. As long as Ewan returns, mind!

I liked Boba Fett but the expanded universe fiction and then the prequels do a lot of damage. Check out the John Wagner penned Boba Fett comics, pretty decent stuff. I'd love to see a Boba Fett film! Use the same young man who played kid Boba in AOTC. Going about his beastly business. Meeting Dengar and friends. Frolicking with Jabba's dancers etc.

I could not give a toss about Boba Fett.
It's also worth noting that despite The Internet claiming there is a Boba Fett movie there has never been one official Lucasfilm or Disney press release to that effect.

Boba Fett was cool because 1) He was the first Empire Strikes Back toy in a preview offer thing, so he was exciting 2) He looked cool 3) Darth Vader wiggled his finger at him 4) He wins at the end of Empire Mainly it was because of how mysterious he was The prequels deciding the clone wars were literally all about Boba Fett completely ruined all of that

As to a Han Solo film, I can't say I am that interested in it - by definition it almost has to be about a damaged idealist who is hiding from the world behind a thick veneer of cynicism and a deliberate effort to stay uninvolved in anyone else's life. That is a hard line to walk and make the character one that you actually want to follow through the film. It isn't really the pulp heroics that Star Wars is mostly about. I've only really seen one piece of Star Wars spin-offery that really pulled that off - Brian Daley's first Han Solo novel. And that had to jump through a lot of hoops to make it work (and Daley doesn't really pull it off in the other two books anywhere near as effectively).
Hey, maybe they'll find a way to make it work. Stranger things have happened. We will see. But it isn't an immediate "yeah, I need to see that" for me.

I never got any sense of Boba Fett being cool. He does very little, and says next to nothing during the course of Empire Strike's Back. He isn't even a "significant henchman" role really, let alone an "evil leftenant" kind of thing. Mostly he just stands there in armour. I mean he gets points for his reaction to young Skywalker turning up being to continue to leg it with his pay-day. But there is something about the way Vader says "no. disintegrations" makes me think Fett is not really a reliable employee somehow. What I found funny was that in the Clone Wars Bobas armour, well Jangos is Mandelorian and the show did a pretty good job of making them seem interesting (I assume they also feature in the EU too, but haven't read any) but in the bonus features they pretty explicitly say Jango and so Boba aren't even Mandelorian which would have been the only positive character developement to come out of the prequels for them. Boba also has some of the weakest Clone Wars stories which doesnt encourage much hope for a film.

Boba ended up with a couple of conflicting origins thanks to the EU. The Mandalorians figured in one of them I recall.
